We must find what we are passionate about, it's true for our work as for our love life. Our work is going to fill a huge part of our life so the only way to be satisfied is to do what we think is a great work. And the only way to do a great job it's in loving what we do. If you haven't found what you like to do yet, keep looking and don't stop. Like all decisions we take with our heart, we will know it when we know it. As in all good relationships, it gets better and better over the years. So keep looking and don't stop.
If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today? And whenever the answer is "No" I know I need to change something.
Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life.
Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.
Parents give children roots and wings. Roots to know where we come from, and wings to fly to the future. Grandparents also pass on family history and traditions, which also helps to anchor roots and shape their identity. Then, when you become a father, to say that your priorities change is an understatement. For the first time in your life, another human being depends on you. To raise happy children, you have to be a happy parent. Our children will always be the priority, and we will always give them priority. Our organization, our experience and the independence of our children grow together.
Born in Narbonne, on the edge of the Mediterranean. Viticulture, which rocked my childhood, is the first economy of the department. The terroirs, like its landscapes, are varied and with character. Viticulture has known its heyday but also great difficulties. Today, it has adapted and still has to adapt to a difficult and changing market. The first vines were planted in the Minervois in the first century. "Mediterranean, with sunny golden islands, cloudless shores, enchanted sky, Mediterranean, It's a fairy who gave you, your decor and your beauty .... Mediterranean!"
Another characterful region where I lived, and where my son borned. In the Basque Country perhaps more than elsewhere, the recognition of cultural identity is paramount. Descended from an ancestral civilization with mysterious origins, the Basque people attach great importance to traditions handed down from generation to generation. The attachment to the family, primordial, is symbolized by the "etche" (the house) real keystone of the social system, relayed by Basque this language which resembles no other. This cultural and traditional wealth, maintained over the centuries despite external influences, is found in many areas and constitutes the specificity of Euskal Herria.

A passion and a job too : the Human!
In my job, this first of all goes through managerial fundamentals: respect, exemplarity, fairness, without which nothing is possible. Then, a human management which gives meaning, which dares to trust, which encourages, which advances, which is united, which celebrates success, which is fair, which is personalized but without be friends.
Human is also the accompaniment of customers in all their moments of life and their projects.
In my personal life, the Human also begins with respect and leads to my social commitment in different actions and in different projects. As Abbé Pierre said "to give is to receive". My social commitment was born from an awareness through (the most important) meetings of my life since my childhood and from an individual will. It's an effort who must be collective, constant, and long-term because the world, policies and practices are constantly changing. Mutual, universal understanding is the goal.
Derivatives, cash flow, securitization, subprimes, LBO, goodwill, MESM, options, EBITDA, swaps, CDO, CDS ... These words, dropped in nature, have a dissuasive effect. The society has complex relationships with finance. While financial activities are probably as old as mankind, there are just as old testimonies of mistrust of these activities. The financial crisis that occurred in the summer of 2007 was certainly the occasion for a renewal in the expression of this distrust: Occupy-type movements, multiplication of proposals for reforms in the financial sector, and even capitalism in general. This attitude is well-founded: the crisis has crudely highlighted the deep dysfunctions of finance and the economic, social and even societal consequences of financial instability.
It is undeniable that finance and the economy have enabled the economic and social development of our societies. This contribution is linked to a robust framework which ensures financial stability and guides activity. There remains, however, an ethical and cultural challenge that regulation cannot do without: putting finance at the service of society requires a fair understanding of its purpose by all of the actors, a responsibility of everyone that goes beyond the only respect for conformity and a commitment to a wider good. In the end, if the renewal of the institutional framework of financial activities which regulators have tackled is essential, it's the rediscovery of a conscience probably too long forgotten, but also too often discredited or suspected of hypocrisy, which will matter. Often forged in times of crisis, it's who makes the mark of great financiers. Large financial institutions work in this direction and finance innovation projects, "green" projects. They are committed to a better distribution of wealth, to a better distribution of foodstuffs, and multiply social actions sometimes behind the scenes.
Taking advantage of an abundant ecosystem in the real estate sector, many French startups have created innovative services, which radically rethink our relationship with our habitat.
Surfing on the smart city wave, real estate startups hope to make their voices heard in 2018. Because the city cannot transform itself without the real estate sector participating in the movement, more and more young shoots are launching out this niche. The operation is however perilous : subject to many standards, with powerful industrialists or traditional networks installed for a long time in the landscape, real estate is a sector in which innovation is a challenge.
Urban planning projects must be thought in taking care of developments in the neighborhood, or even the whole city. Real estate development is part of a long-term program, a building erected today must be in harmony with those to be built tomorrow. The very design of the buildings must allow for the technological improvements that will be available in the near future. The most telling example is better use of renewable energy.
If the external aspect is an important element, in particular compared to the evolution of the valuation of the building, the interior architecture is one of the factors we don't see, but where we live daily. Improved air circulation, optimization of storage and work plans to free up space, architects must focus on quality of life. Green spaces are very important in a complex of apartments buildings. The constructions must take into account the use of the common parts, and the respect of the surrounding biodiversity.
Culture, art and music are specific to a civilization, an era or individuals. All the works are intended to touch the sensibilities and emotions of the general public. Music is an art and a cultural activity consisting in arranging and ordering sounds and silences over time ; rhythm is the support of this combination in time, pitch and frequency.
In his Treatise on painting, Leonardo Da Vinci claims (without much surprise) for the painter a status higher than that of other plastic artists, musicians and other writers. He successively analyzes the questions of intellectuality and difficulty of the work, durability of the work, universality and truth of the representation. Nowadays, the debate is not as lively. It is not uncommon for an artist to be both a sculptor and a painter.
Obviously, to be able to put a sculpture of Botero or Louise Bourgeois at home, it is better to have a very large garden. But as both of them excel in both painting and sculpture, you can also opt for a smaller-sized work in your living room. What do you prefer?
Difficult to choose a particular sport. Skiing, football, rugby, tennis, running bring me a lot of pleasure either by having practiced, by practicing or as a spectator.
For convenience, now I run more often. Running helps put into perspective the pressure. Like rugby, if there is one sport that teaches humility it's the running. I appropriate with him the taste for effort. In addition to bringing me physical well-being, it allows me to thrive, to produce endorphins, to develop skills useful at work, to be more creative.
A word of advice all the same, even if it seems proven that stretching before a race does not necessarily protect from injury, it's nevertheless exercises that you should favor. Stretching allows the body to prepare for training and is a great way to increase your body's flexibility as it makes movement easier and more effective. This means that you will save energy when it comes to running and especially running further or longer. After a race, during the recovery phase, stretching helps to relax the muscles and recover from strenuous workouts faster.
